About the Position

Freshtrack Systems is a young and dynamic company committed to improving efficiencies,processes and information flows for Growers, Packers and Buyers in the fresh produce industry.We are now looking for a young Developer Programmer to join our team.What will you do:- Writing and maintaining program code to meet requirements and technical specifications;- Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in the applications programming language;- Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods;- Building and implementing code and supporting system infrastructure to deliver software based business solutions in line with architected specifications;- Working closely with colleagues to constantly innovate code functionality and design.What we're looking for:- 2+ years of experience as Software and Application Programmer, Developer Programmer or any relevant ICT position;- Experience in the fresh produce industry is a plus;- Bachelor and Master Degree in Computer Technology;- Extensive experience with Javascript ES6;- Experience researching, analysing and evaluating system requirements;- Have a hacker mentality, know break things - and fix them
