This is your opportunity to join the dedicated team of professionals at Metro South Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the RoleManage an allocated workload to deliver Social Work services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.Acts as a clinical reference point with the Social Work team and responds to every-day clinical demands.Collaborate on and undertake the development of evidence-based clinical practices, policies and protocols within Social Work .Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to Social Work complex decision making with only occasional clinical/professional supervision.Adapt routine clinical practice as required based on clinical evidence with minimal supervision and a high degree of independence.Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence based practice under the guidance of senior staff.Applies high level advocacy in the healthcare and welfare system to address client need and ensure equity in access to servicesDelivers high level Social Work clinical services in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and AASW professional practice standardsFind out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.Our ICARE² values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
